A Chinese famille rose armorial bowl with the arms of Troutbeck for the English market, Qianlong, ca. 1775

284

Dia.: 29 cm - H.: 12 cm

The arms are of Troutbeck of Dunham, Cheshire. The arms on this service are incorrectly painted, with the shield gules instead of azure. A later service was delivered around 1780 with the correct coat of arms.
According to Howard, both services remained together with the same family descendants until 2001.
