A blue and white inscribed Dutch Delft children's money bank, dated 1786

The base marked with unidentified initials 'IS', possibly the initials of the recipient, and dated 1786. 

The top inscribed: 'Kindre die altijt versnoepen en geen zij krijgen van een vrind, na verloop van veele daagen zelden iets in ’t potje vind. Maar een kind dat vlijtig spaard, vind het geen hij heeft vergaard. Anno 1786'. English: 'Children who always spend everything and receive nothing from others, will after many days rarely find anything in the money pot. But a child who saves diligently will find what he has accumulated. Anno 1786'.
