Underwood & Underwood published numerous stereoscopic photographs in 1900 and 1901 documenting the aftermath of the Boxer Rebellion in China (1899–1901). These images, often captured by photographer James Ricalton, featured scenes of Tientsin, Beijing, and the foreign military intervention. Key 1901 views include captured Boxer prisoners, destroyed Legation buildings, and the occupied city of Tientsin.
