Een altaarvaas met a foglie decor en IHS-paneel in Antwerpse majolica, 16e eeuw

This is an exceptionally rare and possibly previously unrecorded example of the Antwerp maiolica industry.
The shape is strongly influence by the 15th and early 16th C. examples in Italian maiolica.

Condition:
- A restored break in one of the handles.
- Some restoration around the lower part of the base.
- Glaze slightly degraded, probably due to being buried underground for quite some time.
