This lot features tiles from various origins, including Damascus, Qajar Persia, Kashan, and the Safavid period.

The inscription of the left tile reads: فیما نزل انت القوی نجنا من قهرک یوم الخلل

Which roughly translates to: You are the powerful descended one, save us from your oppression on the day of disorder.
