Five polychrome maiolica floor tiles from the castle of Breda, attributed to the Guido Andries workshop, Antwerp, 1535-1550

Dia.: 10,3 cm - H.: 2,2 cm (the largest 'rosette' tile)

Provenance: 
- A private Dutch collection. 
- The two polychrome rosette tiles purchased from Alfons Groneman, Wilhelminastraat, Breda, The Netherlands in the 1960's. 

These tiles were produced for the castle of Breda, ca. 1535, constructed by Hendrik III van Nassau. They are usually attributed to the Antwerp workshop of Guido Andries.
