The arms are of Captain Harry Gough of Perry Hall, Staffordshire, with those of his wife, Elizabeth Hynde of Madingley Hall, Cambridgeshire. They married in 1719. Gough had previously commissioned Chinese porcelain, and this marriage was commemorated with four blue and white services.
