The inscription on the vase reads: '歲次戊午拾月初六日 何造 黎合花 寶塔寺', which can be translated as: 'Made by He and Li Hehua for the Baota Temple on the 6th day of the 10th lunar month in the year of Wuwu'.

Condition report:

- Generally in very good condition, with minor normal superficial wear.
- Some typical baking lines and baking flaws throughout.
- A few small superficial chips to the rim.
- A chip or a baking flaw to the dragon head.
