The central scene, “Sense of Smell,” portrays a servant presenting fragrant blossoms to French court figures gathered on a terrace and comes from a circa 1690 French engraving by the Bonnart Brothers, known for depicting fashionable court figures.

Condition report:

- Generally in very good condition, with minor normal superficial wear.
- The rim slightly polished.
- Two refilled drilled holes near the rim: located at 3 o'clock position and 9 o'clock position.
